Master of Science in Data Analytics (MSc)
The Future Belongs to People Who Understand and Design Data
The Master of Science in Data Analytics prepares students to transform data into meaningful insights and strategic decisions. Combining analytics, programming, business intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence, the program equips graduates with the practical skills needed to solve complex challenges in today's data-driven world.
Data Analytics (MSc)
The future belongs to professionals who can turn data into knowledge. The Master of Science in Data Analytics combines business insight, technical expertise, and Artificial Intelligence to prepare students for careers where data drives innovation, strategy, and smarter decision-making.
Every day, organizations make decisions based on data. Some use data effectively. Others are overwhelmed by the growing volume and complexity of information available to them.

At the same time, Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way businesses operate, conduct research, solve complex problems, and support decision-making. Yet even the most advanced AI systems depend on one essential ingredient: high-quality data. Artificial Intelligence can only produce meaningful, reliable, and responsible results when it is built upon structured, accurate, and well-managed information.

The Master of Science in Data Analytics at Touro University Berlin prepares students to become the professionals who create that foundation. Throughout the program, students learn how to collect, organize, analyze, interpret, visualize, and communicate data so that organizations—and the Artificial Intelligence systems they increasingly rely on—can make informed and reliable decisions.

The program combines analytical thinking, technical knowledge, business understanding, and communication skills within an American university education in Germany. Students study entirely in English through classroom-based teaching at the Touro University Berlin campus while earning a Master of Science in Data Analytics.
Why Study Data Analytics?
Data has become one of the world's most valuable resources. Organizations across business, finance, healthcare, government, research, and technology increasingly rely on data to guide strategy, improve performance, reduce risk, and support innovation.
As Artificial Intelligence becomes integrated into nearly every industry, the importance of reliable data continues to grow. AI systems do not create knowledge independently—they learn from data. Poor-quality data leads to poor-quality results, while well-structured, validated, and carefully managed data enables Artificial Intelligence to deliver meaningful insights and support better decision-making.
The Master of Science in Data Analytics prepares students to understand not only how data is analyzed, but also how it becomes the foundation for modern Artificial Intelligence. Students develop the knowledge required to evaluate analytical results, communicate findings clearly, and use both data and AI responsibly in professional environments.

Shape Your Degree Around Your Career Goals
The Master of Science in Data Analytics combines a strong common core curriculum with the opportunity to specialize in one of two professional concentrations. Students complete a shared foundation in data analytics before choosing the pathway that best supports their individual career goals and professional interests.

The program offers two concentrations:

Business Concentration
The Business Concentration is designed for students who want to use data to improve business performance, support management decisions, and translate complex information into strategic action. It prepares students for careers in business analytics, financial analysis, risk management, marketing analytics, consulting, operations, and management while demonstrating how reliable data supports effective Artificial Intelligence applications in business environments.

Technology/Database Concentration
The Technology/Database Concentration is designed for students who want to understand the technical foundation behind data analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Students develop expertise in databases, data management, programming, visualization, and the technologies that allow organizations to collect, structure, manage, analyze, and visualize information. The concentration emphasizes the importance of creating reliable data foundations that enable Artificial Intelligence to perform effectively.

Both concentrations lead to the Master of Science in Data Analytics degree and prepare graduates for careers in today's rapidly growing data economy.

Can I Study This Program?
Applicants who hold a bachelor's degree and want to build a future in data analytics, business analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or data-driven decision-making are encouraged to apply.

Students do not need to come exclusively from computer science or business backgrounds. Applicants from different academic disciplines may be eligible for admission. Where necessary, preparatory courses help students build the technical foundation required for success in the program. The program is designed for students who want to strengthen their analytical thinking, develop practical data skills, understand modern analytical technologies, and prepare for careers where data and Artificial Intelligence play an increasingly important role.
