MA Holocaust Communication and Tolerance

Description

This unique research-based program allows students with an interest in the Holocaust and Jewish studies to acquire further knowledge on the subject.

MA students will have the opportunity to study Institut für Judaistik (Institute for Jewish Studies) at the Free University (FU) of Berlin. The program also includes visits to key Holocaust memorials in and around Berlin and Brandenburg including the Topography of Terror, The Jewish Museum, and Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and Memorial Site.

  • Fees: German and American Degree Track: The fee for Master of Arts in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance and MA Jewish Studies/Holocaust Studies is €1440 per semester. German Degree Track: The fee for Master of Arts in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance is €720 per semester.

Entry Requirements
Minimum BA degree (or equivalent) in related fields such as history, philosophy, German / Eastern European Studies, sociology, Judaic studies, political science, social psychology, gender studies, theology, journalism, or theater/arts. We also encourage professionals who would like to take up Holocaust Studies on a part-time basis.
