On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Wannsee Conference, Professor Peter Klein, Dean of the M.A. program in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance at Touro College Berlin, presented a public lecture on the controversies and interpretations of the event in its historical context.
More than forty listeners – Touro students, professors and guests from outside – gathered on the Berlin Campus in Room Berlin on February 1, 2017, to hear a brilliant lecture.
In his one-hour talk Prof. Klein explored the misunderstanding of the conference being regarded as the defining moment in history to start the Holocaust. He then focused on the impact of the meeting as it specified the details for the „final solution of the Jewish Question“.
An informal reception followed the lecture throughout which Professor Klein was available for discussion with students and guests.
