Lander Institute

The Lander Institute for Communication about the Holocaust and Tolerance was founded in 2005 by Dr. Bernard Lander.

It focuses on research of the history and consequences of the Holocaust. A Master of Arts degree program in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance was created in 2006 and started in the fall semester 2007/2008. This unique program aims to deepen historical knowledge and foster an appropriate form of remembrance through innovative means of communicating and educating about the Holocaust in memorials, plaques, film, speech, and rituals.
