Assistant Professor of Business Management and Finance
Alex Gurvich is an Assistant Professor of Business Management and Finance at Touro Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Gurvich is a founding member and a Managing Partner at The Rockledge Group, a firm managing funds for US and European investors.
Mr. Gurvich began his business career as a management consultant with Bain & Company. Prior to joining Rockledge, Mr. Gurvich was a venture capitalist with General Electric's GE Capital.
Mr. Gurvich earned a BA in Physics from the University of Chicago, and subsequently worked in the medical physics laboratory at Harvard University.
He holds two Master's degrees, an MBA from INSEAD, Europe, and an MS in Financial Engineering from New York University Polytechnic Institute. He is also a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute. Prior to entering business school, he was an engineer/physicist with a French high-tech scientific instrumentation company.
