Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis until all spaces in the program have been filled. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Admission Prerequisites

 

The primary prerequisite for registration at Touro College Berlin is a school leaving certificate sufficient for entry to higher level study such as

  • Abitur
  • High School Diploma
  • Bagrut
  • A-Levels
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Other School Leaving Certificate

 
School leaving certificates may require further documentation after review. Acceptance into one diploma study program does not infer that entrance into both is inherent. Further information on German Bachelor requirement can be evaluated by visiting the DAAD Website (German Academic Exchange Service) or anabin (Anerkennung und Bewertung ausländischer Bildungsnachweise).

 

Admission to the American B.Sc. program requires that prospective students meet the academic requirement level of the American High School diploma. These include Abitur, Bagrut, A-Levels, and International Baccalaureate (IB). Any other school leaving certificate must be certified by World Education Services (WES).

 

Admission to German B.A. program requires that an applicant provide a secondary school leaving certificate to the German "Abitur". If you do not hold a German High School diploma (Abitur) and would like to determine whether you qualify for direct enrollment in Touro College Berlin's German B.A. program, please visit anabin to view the guidelines of the Foreign Education qualification for admission to higher education.

 

Appropriate Requirement Equivalents

If you do not hold a German high school diploma (Abitur) and you need to know whether you qualify for direct enrolment your best option is to explore www.anabin.de. In this case you would have to show a secondary school-leaving certificate or a qualification for admission to higher education that is equivalent to the German "Abitur" (or you will have to prove one or two years of successful studies in your home country in addition to your high school leaving certificate) and sufficient knowledge of German.

 

 

Application Documents

 

In order to apply at Touro College Berlin prospective students have to turn in the following documents:

  • Completed and signed application form (download form)
  • Copy of school leaving certificate, including a transcript showing final grades (all foreign documents must be accompanied by a certified English translation)
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Academic letter of reference
  • Administrative processing fee of 30 EUR for EU members, 50 EUR for non-EU members*
  • Two passport photos
  • Copy of passport or national identity card 

  

Entrance Exam and Interview

 

Applicants are required to take an entrance exam in English and Mathematics after a complete application has been submitted. An interview in person is mandatory. It generally takes place on the day of the entrance exam. Please contact the Office of Admissions or check the news section for upcoming exam dates.
